The VMarlins Program
 The Virginia Marlins is a professional developmental program that provides growth opportunities in the game of baseball. The program is divided into teams of student/athletes based on age and ability. Each player can move up or down the channels of development and play according to his competitive make-up and experience.



Players from the ages of 5-30 can experience the joy of playing competitive baseball as they learn the game and travel around the world to participate. The teams are broken into the following categories:

Collegiate (College Eligible) 18-23
VM Academy (High School Eligible) 13-18
Rookie Development (Elementary) 8-12
Young Guns (Pre-K-3) 5-7

High School Student/Athletes who want extra games and professional development are offered the opportunity to interview and partake in the 2012  
-15-20 man roster opening for spring/summer team
-45-60 games in the spring/summer of 2012

-Face-to-face collegiate networking
-$795 per season

  2012 Collegiate Wood Bat League
Collegiate eligible and competitive student-athletes are being scouted to fill out the two Summer Wood Bat Collegiate teams of the Virginia Marlins and the International Marlins Teams
-25-30 man roster opening for both teams
-45-60 game wood bat schedule
-Professional instruction and networking
-Power/Speed Development
-$695 Player Participation Dues

 International Exchange Programs
International students who want to play baseball in the USA, network with college coaches, participate in pro tryouts
-Flexible holiday and semester schedules

-Holiday Rates $1,500.00 per 2-3 week visit
 Plus travel costs (airfare, lodging)
-Semester Rates $3,500 per 3 month visit
