The VMarlins Program
The Virginia Marlins is a professional developmental program that provides growth opportunities in the game of baseball. The program is divided into teams of student/athletes based on age and ability. Each player can move up or down the channels of development and play according to his competitive make-up and experience.

Players from the ages of 5-30 can experience the joy of playing competitive baseball as they learn the game and travel around the world to participate. The teams are broken into the following categories:
Collegiate (College Eligible) 18-23
VM Academy (High School Eligible) 13-18
Rookie Development (Elementary) 8-12
Young Guns (Pre-K-3) 5-7

2012 Collegiate Wood Bat League
Collegiate eligible and competitive student-athletes are being scouted to fill out the two Summer Wood Bat Collegiate teams of the Virginia Marlins and the International Marlins Teams
