    Frank H. Fulton, Jr.

.  Coach Fulton has 32 years of experience in many different arenas of sports development within the communities of competitive baseball and football.  He has served as the Head Baseball Coach for Hampden-Sydney College, The German National Baseball Program, and has scouted for the Florida Marlins and the Pittsburgh Pirates.  He has also served as the Head Football Coach for Averett University, the Head Football Coach at Louisa County HS, and has worked with student-athletes at all levels from t-ball to professional.  See More
 

Coach Fulton has also been instrumental in networking athletes into collegiate/professional jobs, works with international athletes, and creates tournaments/events for players to develop their skill.  He has networked players/coaches from Germany, Ireland, France, and Moldova into the USA as well as sent young college graduates to Europe to continue their athletic careers.

Coach Fulton has a passion within the world of education.  His undergraduate degree is in economics from Hampden-Sydney College and he holds two master of science degrees from Longwood University in Educational Supervision and Physical Education.  He is a certified teacher of Math and is licensed to serve as a HS Principal in the state of NC.

Coach believes that every good student and every good athlete should share a bond that brings both developmental components together to create a positive citizen.  A well-rounded, sociable, student/athlete knows how to use their skills to their maximum capacity.  It is the one single trait of the champion that sets him apart from mediocrity.


  
Peyton Fulton

 Has been a cornerstone of the VA Marlins program serving as assistant coach, co-op team head coach, and recruiting coordinator for the various levels of the organization.Peyton has ten years of coaching experience with many different levels of athletes.

Peyton Played international baseball in Germany for the Wiesbaden Express. He also played football and baseball at Averett University. At Central High School of Lunenburg County, Virginia. Coach Peyton was an All-State Football/Track student/athlete and an All-District Baseball Player.  He also played basketball and graduated in 1998.

Peyton is married to Ashley Stanton and has one young warrior princess, Matty, age 2.  He loves to teach, work on fundamentals, and spends countless hours working on the "outdoor classroom of baseball" at the VMarlins Park.

  
James "Cowboy" Atterbury
 
The youngest 69 year-old in Baseball!!!  Coach Atterbury comes to the Marlins in 2011 as a veteran player, coach, and promoter of positive character development.

Coach Atterbury is one of the few active individuals who played in the former professional Negro League of the 60's.  Cowboy graduated from Booker T. Washington in 1960.  He played with the Philadelphia Stars from 1962-63, The "James Brown All-Stars" in 1965, and singed with the Chicago Cubs in 1995. He stay in the Cubs organization until 1967 when he was traded to the California Angels.  Cowboy played for the Angels organization until 1969. 

He was known for his speed and strong arm.  We know him as a positive enthusiast for baseball and the development of student/athletes. Cowboy brings great energy to the program and will factor into the daily development of all levels.
